Hi! I’m Ate. Ate as in Atena, not as in eat/ate/eaten. Since childhood, I’ve been drawn to discovering the world. At 7, I told people I wanted to be an archeologist—not because I understood the job fully, but because I was fascinated by culture, history, and exploration. As I grew, that desire shifted into simply wanting a life that allowed me to see the world.
After years of studying Math and IT under my parents’ wishes, I took a leap and secretly applied to a British university for International Tourism Business Management. The condition: no asking for money. But three minimum-wage jobs weren’t enough, and soon, FaceTime fights over finances became the norm. That’s when I pivoted—reaching out to a travel influencer I admired. Miraculously, I became her assistant in a fully remote role.
By 19, I was helping organize international retreats and getting paid to travel—living the dream I’d once imagined. That opportunity opened a world of experiences, proving that passion and persistence really can shape your path. What started as an Instagram message became the first chapter of a life full of movement, connection, and purpose.
It became clear to me that nothing excites me more than planning retreats. It combines my love for travel, my passion for building community, and my innate party-planner energy.
"Some of the best friendships I’ve made came from those experiences. The memories? Unforgettable."
But not everything was perfect. The work environment was toxic, and even if you love your job, you still need to be able to pay your bills. Eventually, I left. But the connections I made stayed.
My friends encouraged me to charge more, go out on my own, and build something better.
So I did.
After university, I started my own business. I began working with clients all around the world, mostly in the U.S. I helped market products and services in finance, publishing, events, jewelry, and real estate.
What people often miss about my job is this: it’s not just about marketing techniques. You have to understand the field to sell in it. That’s what makes me good at what I do. I obsess over whatever my clients offer.
That’s how I got immersed in the Personal Finance world. I became obsessed with the FIRE movement. Now, at 22, I’m in the top 0.7% of income earners in my country — traveling the world and launching my second business: retreats.
Whether you’re the career-focused, the hustler, the confused, or the wild, you’re welcome here.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need the courage to show up. These retreats are for anyone ready to grow — no matter where you are on your path.
